About The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering activities associated design and construction of overhead and underground high voltage electrical systems Summary of duties and responsibilities: Performs design activities associated with the layout of electrical distribution systems Creates physical layout drawings for electrical systems when needed Conducts field audits for the construction of electrical power systems Attends project meetings Collaborates to resolve problems, respond to customer inquiries, and manage projects Fosters a safe, productive job-site environment and quality work products; encourages an attitude of safety and quality in others Presents information to individuals and groups; prepares reports and presentations Ensures work product is quality, timely and efficient Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
Education and/or Experience: Technical degree in engineering, computer-aided design, electrical systems design technology, or similar program Experience in lieu of degree will be considered Knowledge of electrical engineering design principles and methodologies Willingness to work at project sites requiring an occasional overnight stay Ability to work in both field & office settings Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
