- Enter new service requests using company approved systems and processes as needed. - Design electric/natural gas distribution and transmission systems and facilities per BHE standards and procedures. - Plan, design, and coordinate customer requirements for electric/natural gas service installations and primary/main extensions for new commercial and residential customers per BHE’s extension policy. - Assure that electric/natural gas construction complies with BHE and industry codes and standards. - Prepare construction plans, survey and stake facilities for new line extensions and integrity (replacement) upgrades. - Ensure necessary rights-of-way, easements, and other permits are obtained. - Perform site visits to ensure work site is prepared and ready prior to start of construction. - Ensure that all work on assigned projects are planned/scheduled so that construction can be accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. - Communicate BHE construction policies and procedures to customers and work with customers to best satisfy needs. - Create, manage, and close out work orders using company approved systems and process. Ensure projects are accurately completed in Company mapping, asset, and accounting systems. - Work with Operations Supervisor(s) and other departments to schedule construction of customer projects and internal integrity projects to ensure that customer needs are satisfied to the greatest degree possible. - Coordinate and communicate with customer and contractors. - Monitor actual vs. estimated cost on all work orders and explain/justify significant variances. - Assist with planning for electric/natural gas crews work schedule to maintain efficient use of labor resources. - Provide project leadership support of contractors, electric line/gas crews when managing assigned projects. - Work in conjunction with Key Account/Growth Representatives to provide estimates for potential growth projects. - Provide input for Capital/O&M budget creation and prioritization. - Be a key point of contact for City, County, and State road/highway relocation projects. - Review civil engineering plans to design and relocate BHE facilities to clear conflicts with City, County and State projects. - Complete revenue estimates for construction allowances and feasibility study as needed. - Manage and obtain reimbursements, refundable, and non-refundable construction deposits as appropriate. - Ensure Utility Construction Specialist has the information to set up customers on correct billing and taxing rates. - Manage and provide documentation for non-basic 3rd Party Damage claims. - Understand and comply with federal, State and company regulations. - Be proactive in safety and promote a culture of safety.

POSITION OVERVIEW The MEA Member Relations Support & Tradeshow Coordinator has two key responsibilities: 1- Support for the Member Relations programs, and 2- Event coordination and logistics support for in-person, virtual events and tradeshows. Support learning and development curriculums. • Help measure and report on the effectiveness of MEA’s leadership training; address user/participant feedback and maintain content relevance. • Manage product fulfillment and execution for online leadership licenses via MEA and member LMS systems. • Assist in ordering new materials for training programs. • Provide onsite coordination of leadership training activities. Tradeshow/Event Coordination • Work with MEA Team members to support the execution of event training needs for in-person and virtual events including: o Coordination, planning, registration, logistical support and on-site execution of in-person training events and online virtual event training initiatives. o Develop expertise in management, execution and training of webinars, conference calls and virtual meeting needs for MEA staff. • Work with business development managers to coordinate and manage the planning, registration, reservation, payments, shipping and execution of all industry tradeshow/exhibitor events attended by the MEA sales team. o Manage leads (contact information) from tradeshows, webinars, programs and other business development opportunities. • Manage the department’s tradeshow and event assets to ensure availability. • Maintain a strong working relationship with shipping vendors. • Manage all tradeshow materials, displays, equipment and storage Member Relations - General Support • Coordinate the packaging and shipping of all New Member Kits. • Support the development of reports, metrics and competitive intelligence that will improve MEA’s programs and services. • Conduct member contact, outreach, as directed • Understand MEA’s overall goals with a specific support of the Member Relations goals and objectives. • Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • General knowledge of leadership and learning principles. • Experience in developing training material and content editing/design. • Familiarity with livestreaming events and hosting webinars (e.g., WebEx, Citrix Go To Meetings/ Go To Webinar, ON24). • Excellent communication skills. Confident in representing MEA’s many stakeholders in different formats (e.g., presenter, facilitator, ambassador). • Strong project management and organizational skills. • Experience in tradeshow and event planning is a plus. • Experience working for a trade associations is a plus. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong initiative and being a self-starter. • Ability to work across all MEA’s lines of business to achieve goals. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and reach overhead to help assemble tradeshow booths, tabletops and materials. • Advanced PC skills including MS Office Suite. Alliant Energy is looking for a Cyber Security Operations Center Analyst in Madison, WI. This analyst role will work within a close team that is responsible for activities relating to monitoring and responding to security events. This position is a significant technical role responsible for cyber investigations and malware analysis, including reverse engineering and forensics. This position is responsible for maintaining the threat intelligence program. The ideal candidate will have technical operational technology (OT) experience (i.e industrial control systems related to utilities, manufacturing, or oil/gas). •This position can be filled at a level II or Sr. Analyst depending on candidate experience. •Alliant Energy will not provide sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B visa) now or in the future for this position. Job Responsibilities : •As an active member of the team, monitor and process response for security events during normal business hours, and participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours security event response. •Stay current with, and remain knowledgeable, about new threats. Analyze attacker tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) from security events across a large heterogeneous network of security devices and end-user systems. •Participate in threat modeling collaboration with other members of the IT security team. •Conduct cyber investigations as events are escalated, including triage, remediation and documentation. •Leverage automation and orchestration solutions to automate repetitive tasks. •Analyze suspicious files across applications, networks and endpoints, including memory and disk forensics, to determine maliciousness. Analysis requires knowledge of traditional malware, but also repurposed files that are not malicious (i.e., Windows utilities), as well as targeted malware and zero-day attacks. •Thoroughly document cyber investigations (with context) and the malware analyzed. This documentation, which is beyond simple indicator lists, will include malware details such as capabilities and recommended mitigation strategies. •Active participant in any incident response effort and helps coordinate a cohesive and repeatable process designed to remediate existing threats and anticipate new attacker tactics, techniques and procedures. •Expected to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Must respond at all hours to conduct cyber investigations, extraction of IOCs, threat hunting, incident response and communication to security leaders. •Serve as a subject matter expert for questions received from management and other technical teams about the severity of the malware analyzed, or ongoing cyber investigations. •Expected to extract indicators of compromise (IOCs) and share them within the IT security team members (and sometimes external parties) to improve the defensive position of the organization and the industry as a whole. •Administrate and manage the CSOC threat intelligence program. •Organize and conduct threat hunting activities with security personnel both inside and outside of the CSOC. •Maintain and preserve evidence and chain of custody for all cyber investigations. •Seek opportunities to identify efficiencies through the standard operations of the CSOC. •Evaluate CSOC policies and procedures, and recommend updates to management as appropriate. •Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs), metrics and business scorecard obligations for ticket handling and escalation of security incidents and events. •Work with the Senior CSOC Analysts to improve tool usage and workflow, as well as to mature monitoring and response capabilities. •Leverage knowledge in multiple security disciplines, such as Windows, Unix, Linux, data loss prevention (DLP), endpoint controls, databases, wireless security and data networking, to offer global solutions for a complex heterogeneous environment. •Maintain working knowledge of advanced threat detection as the industry evolves.
