EN Energy Engineering Announces Opening of Albany Office |

EN Energy Engineering, LLC has opened a new office in Albany, New York, expanding its utilities consulting services in the region. The office, which is located at 125 Wolf Road, Suite 217, is located near many of the utilities companies the firm currently serves. In addition, the Albany region offers an outstanding location for expansion. Daniel Lorden, Director, System Analysis & Consulting, who will head up the office stated, “The Utilities Business Unit Consulting Group currently serves a large number of New England-based customers, but our traditional customer base, comprised of electric utilities and project developers, is underserved in New York, so a local presence will help us expand our relationships in the region.”
EN Energy Engineering, through its affiliation with EN Engineering, has 20 other locations around the country, and engineers licensed to practice in all 50 states. “Expanding our presence in New York is an important step in our growth strategy,” stated Steve Knowles, Chief Executive Officer. “The region is home to many electric utility companies and offers a depth of talented engineering professionals who will help us support our new and existing customers in the region.”
EN Energy Engineering is an affiliate of EN Engineering, which was founded in 2002 and has been expanding in recent years to address the growing need for engineering and design services to the energy industry. In 2018, the firm ranked 82nd on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Engineering Design Firms in the United States.
