Romet Named 2019 Best Managed Company

Romet Limited today announced it has been named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the third consecutive year. The Mississauga, Ontario provider of natural gas meters and meter-related services was one of 477 private Canadian companies recognized.

“We are pleased to have been awarded this prestigious designation,” said Brent Collver, P.Eng., Romet’s chief executive officer. “This recognition reflects the continued commitment of our entire team to provide the rugged, reliable and responsive products and services valued by customers worldwide.”

Each year hundreds of entrepreneurial companies with revenues of $15 million or more are evaluated by a judging panel comprised of a select group of independent members and rotating special guest representatives. Only the top-performing Canadian owned companies are selected to be on the best-managed list.

The rigorous application process evaluates four key areas of company performance: Strategic vision, capability, commitment and return-oninvestment. Established in 1993, Canada’s leading business awards program was sponsored this year by Deloitte, CIBC, Canadian Business, Smith School of Business, and the Toronto Stock Exchange.
